Beschrijving

After rebuilding tons of instrument clusters we found out that leaking batteries on the SI board (Service Interval Board) can cause problems with the mainboard as well.
The acid will find its way through the connector into the main PCB (Printer Circuit Board) causing various malfunctions even after replacing the SI Board.

These mainboards are cleaned, reflowed (resoldered).

All boards have a 24h test cycle and a full year warranty!

Please note these boards are for model years 1981 1982 1983 1984 1985 and early 1986. (Early production)
In 1986 the clusters were redesigned and got completely different boards. You can recognize an early cluster by checking how many red LED’s are in the Service Interval display.

5 Green, 1 Yellow, 3 Red = Early production
5 Green, 1 Yellow, 1 Red = Late production
